You may have done satisfactory work through out a course, but were unable to complete all course work for reasons beyond your control. In this situation, your professor may agree to assign you an “I” grade, to allow you time to complete the missing work.
According to the College Policy, the time allowed for the student to complete the required additional work is at the discretion of the professor who awarded the “I” grade, up to a maximum of 12 calendar months, after which the “I” grade reverts to a failing grade “F” or “FNA” grade. (See the section entitled ACADEMIC MATTERS, in the Centennial College full-time calendar for details)
