The foundation of the Applied Degree Council is built upon the pursuit of five goals:

1. Represent applied degree students of Centennial College to the college, community and prospective students.
2. Promote Applied Research to re-establish the image of Centennial College as an innovative, cutting-edge institution.
3. Advance student education beyond in-class lectures and tutorials and help create an environment where applied research is possible.
4. Provide a social environment where all degree students, from various programs and years, can interact with each other.
5. Obtain recognition and strengthen the reputation of Centennial College’s applied degrees in the relevant industries.
