To acknowledge the hard work and dedication of applied degree Professors, the Applied Degree Council proudly presents "Professor of the Year" awards. **** 2007 Best Professor of the Year winners: Year 1: Kieh Wong Year 2: Vigna Thanikaslam Year 3: Ian Miles Year 4: John Kennedy **** Professors are chosen on the basis of their extraordinary dedication to applied degree teaching, determined by excellence in the following three areas: 1) Impact on and involvement with applied degree students; 2) Scholarly approach to teaching and learning; 3) Contributions to applied degree education in the institution and community
Each program Year will select one (1) Professor from a list of Profs who have taught their class in the current 2006-2007 academic year. Voting will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 and Thursday April 5, 2007. How will voting take place? An ADC Executive member, along with your Year Rep. will come to your class either Tuesday or Thursday with ballot sheets. Results will be announced on April 14 at the Applied Degree Dean's Dinner. They will also be posted on the ADC website (cc-adc.org) and the ADC Bulletin Board located next to the Commons area.
